ESPN550 is Maui’s all-sports, all-of-the time radio station.
In addition to carrying the bulk of ESPN radio’s impressive lineup of shows, Fred Guzman hosts a popular mid-day local program known as the SportsPhone weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Joining him is co-host Bill Schindler along with
a cast of call-in regulars led by a mystery man known simply as Da Source.
ESPN550 is also the home of MIL sports, having extended a long-time agreement that will assure of local coverage of local prep sports for the next three years with an option for three more. Veteran play-by-play announcer Barry Helle is joined by
Guzman and Schindler to provide exclusive coverage of football, basketball and baseball through the prep seasons, including state tournaments in each of those sports.
ESPN550 also provides live coverage of Oakland Raiders football, Major League Baseball, the NBA, the Bowl Championship Series, the Maui Invitational basketball and the Mercedes Benz Championships.
